Global Test Case Favours Class Action

In a world first and with potentially massive global repercussions in what is looked upon as a test case, Australian Federal Court Justice Stewart has ruled in favour of the class action – by some 70 churches, local councils and universities – against a local subsidiary of the now defunct Lehman Brothers in respect to subsidiary products sold in the lead up to the Credit Crisis of 2007.
