Operation Iraqi Freedom and the Usages of War

Greg Palast, author of The Best Democracy Money Can Buy and Armed Madhouse, is investigative reporter and muckraker extraordinaire who, by nature of the situation, can tend to the crass and irreverent. But that’s not to say that there’s not much to learn from his investigations. There is. The following 2004 Mothers’ Day talk, recorded in front of a receptive First Unitarian Universalist Church audience in San Diego, should suit most palates. George Bush (43), who has received more than his fare share of criticism (much — but not all — of which is probably unwarranted), here falls under the investigator’s spotlight as we go back a decade (sometimes we need to go back before we can move forward).

In true Palast style, The Best Democracy Money Can Buy now comes in comic book. You can get your copy here. (You can download it free or for a small donation).

There is nothing to disclose. Pilgrim Bobby receives no kickbacks, indeed has no affiliation whatsoever, from/with Greg Palast.
