This will get ugly. We are going to see increasing Western belligerence and the baiting of Russia while President Putin has all but accepted now that war is inevitable. Both sides are as stubborn as the other though the prize for agent provocateur would have to go to the West. Unfortunately, empires know not how to die with dignity. While it’s all sabre rattling and economic tit-for-tat – with no major hostilities on the immediate horizon – we are rapidly approaching a point of economic and political nihilism (as well perhaps as the early stages of deployments around Ukraine). Next move: this week’s NATO summit in Wales with David Cameron as lead shrill. (See The Nail In The Petrodollar Coffin: Gazprom Begins Accepting Payment For Oil In Ruble, Yuan, by Tyler Durden of Zero Hedge).
Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
We are at the beginnings of the US Dollar (USD) death spiral — within a matter of a few years it will have been replaced as the world’s reserve currency:
The BRICs are arranging an alternative to the World Bank/IMF system and also to the petrodollar, as Gazprom will begin accepting payment in Rubles and Yuan, and escalating US/EU sanctions against Russia appear to be backfiring. There is a suggestion also that provoking the Ukraine situation may be to entice a premature move by Russia to place the Ruble into reserve currency status, and thereby blame Putin for the coming US dollar collapse. A growing sense of isolation of the US as an economic superpower sees her increasingly making geopolitical waves. She can sense that her time to act is running out.
For the whole story listen to Jim Willie, Golden Jackass of the Hat Trick Letter, in a discussion with the TF Metals Report of the Silver Doctors. Given California’s Monterey shale extractable (economic) reserve estimates have been decimated — cut by 95%, i.e. from the initial EIA estimate of 13.7 billion bbl to 600 million bbl, we can see why the anxiety. And the anxiety will turn to rage.
For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.
The true king of the north (KON) is God; and the counterfeit KON is the arch enemy as he attempts to place his throne in God’s temple.
The end-times is a spiritual war – a battle for the minds. Who will you worship?
Be firm in faith for God and turn your back on lukewarm piety and petty concerns. Hold strong in Jesus. For the war is just beginning.
And once the KONs religious system overcomes the king of the south’s (KOS) secular humanism, the KON will be head spokesperson for the anti-type New World Order (Mystery Babylon) in a manner fitting of the typical/literal Babylon of old, but this time in a spiritual sense only – a quasi-religious, political and economic usurper who will come in peace and charm but will break the covenant and make the abomination that is desolate.
At which point will begin The Great Tribulation against the people of Israel and then the world, culminating in the Battle near Armegiddo (Armageddon) before the triumphant return of a vengeful Lord Jesus in regaining his throne.
Praise be to Yeshua our Lord!
October 24, 2011 – ROME – The Vatican called on Monday for the establishment of a “global public authority” and a “central world bank” to rule over financial institutions that have become outdated and often ineffective in dealing fairly with crises. The document from the Vatican’s Justice and Peace department should please the “Occupy Wall Street” demonstrators and similar movements around the world who have protested against the economic downturn. “Towards Reforming the International Financial and Monetary Systems in the Context of a Global Public Authority,” was at times very specific, calling, for example, for taxation measures on financial transactions. “The economic and financial crisis which the world is going through calls everyone, individuals and peoples, to examine in depth the principles and the cultural and moralvalues at the basis of social coexistence,” it said. It condemned what it called “the idolatry of the market” as well as a “neo-liberal thinking” that it said looked exclusively at technical solutions to economic problems. “In fact, the crisis has revealed behaviours like selfishness, collective greed and hoarding of goods on a great scale,” it said, adding that world economics needed an “ethic of solidarity” among rich and poor nations. “If no solutions are found to the various forms of injustice, the negative effects that will follow on the social, political and economic level will be destined to create a climate of growing hostility and even violence, and ultimately undermine the very foundations of democratic institutions, even the ones considered most solid,” it said. It called for the establishment of “a supranational authority” with worldwide scope and “universal jurisdiction” to guide economic policies and decisions. –Reuters
